7. For arspace boundares, hghways, roads,
ralroad lnes, wnd vector, track log data,
actve flght plan course lnes, and lat/long
grd lnes: turn the
small right knob to select
the approprate “Group” name (per the chart
on the prevous page) and press
ENT . Use the
large right knob to hghlght the zoom field
for the desred feature and turn the small
right knob to select the maxmum scale at
whch the feature should appear on screen. Or
select “Off” to never dsplay the selected fea-
ture. Press
ENT
to accept the selected opton.
Dstance Measurements
The “Measure Dist?” option provides a quick, easy
method for determining the bearing and distance
between any two points on the map display.
To measure bearing and distance between two
points:
1. On the Nav Map page, press MENU . Then,
turn the large right knob to hghlght “Mea-
sure Dst?” and press ENT . An on-screen refer-
ence ponter wll appear on the map dsplay at
your present poston.
2. Use the
small
and
large right
knobs to place
the reference ponter at the locaton you wsh
to measure FROM and press
ENT
.
3. Agan, use the small and large right knobs to
place the reference ponter at the locaton you
wsh to measure TO. The bearng and dstance
from the first reference locaton wll appear at
the top of the map dsplay.
4. To ext the “Measure Dst?” opton, press the
small right knob.
