ABNORMAL OPERATION
NOTE:
The Cessna Corvalis T240 Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) always takes
precedence over the information found in this section.
REVERSIONARY MODE
Should a system detected failure occur in either display, the G2000 automatically
enters reversionary mode. In reversionary mode, critical flight instrumentation is
combined with engine instrumentation on the remaining display.
If the system fails to detect a display problem, Reversionary Mode may be manually
activated by pressing the
DISPLAY BACKUP
Button on the instrument panel.
Pressing this button again deactivates Reversionary Mode.
STUCK MICROPHONE
If the push-to-talk (PTT) Key becomes stuck, the COM transmitter stops
transmitting after 35 seconds of continuous operation. An alert appears on the
Touchscreen Controller to advise the pilot of a stuck microphone.
The
MIC
Button Annunciator flashes as long as the PTT Key remains stuck.
COM TUNING FAILURE
In case of a COM system tuning failure, the emergency frequency (121.500 MHz)
is automatically tuned in the radio in which the tuning failure occurred. Depending
on the failure mode, a yellow X may appear on the frequency display. The emergency
frequency (121.500 MHz) may also be tuned by pressing the
