5.4.1 Two-port Link (2PL)
The two-port link (2PL) feature logically connects the link of the two Net ports together. When the feature
is enabled, if the link of any one of network ports fails, the link of the other network port will also be
dropped.
When the port that has its link failed recovers from the link failure, the link of the other port will also be
turned back on again.

5.4.2 M2N
The M2N feature makes the link of a Net port to be in a slave state of its corresponding Mon ports. The
M2N mode can be set independently on each monitor port. When enabled, if the link of the Mon port has
failed, the link of the corresponding Net port will also be dropped.
This feature can be enabled with 2PL. When 2PL is enabled when M2N is also enabled on a Mon port, both
NET ports will have their link dropped if the Mon port link has failed.
