3. To install the glass:
i. Examine the Ceran® glass before installation.
ii. Then lower the glass carefully onto the silicone stripe.
NOTE: Orient the glass-top correctly in relation to the
frame and coil carrier sheet.
NOTE: When installing multiple glass-tops side by
side, orient the logos the same direction. Consult the
designer or plan for details.
Align the edges of the glass with the edges of the
counter-top opening.
iii. Level the glass-top. Insert screws (not provided, size
M4) into the threaded holes and level the glass-top
by adjusting the screws.
iv. To provide a water tight seal, apply silicone sealant
completely around, filling any gaps between the
glass and the counter-top surface.
NOTE: Allow enough time for the silicone to cure per
manufacturer’s instructions before installing the coil
carrier sheet (Step 4).

4. Installing the Coil Carrier Sheet
NOTE: Before installation, check the kitchen plan and coil layout (orientation) to ensure the plug connectors on the coil
carrier sheet are oriented correctly for wiring and maintenance.
NOTE: The coils and temperature sensors on the coil carrier sheet must be compressed against the bottom of the glass
evenly. Specifically, a constant pressure of 5mm to the Ceran® glass allows the sensors to work properly. You MUST
follow the instructions to set the correct compression.
To install the coil carrier sheet:
i. Loosen the two screws to free the retaining rails. The
rails are hinged at the hooks at the back.
ii. Guided by the retaining rails, carefully insert the back
end of the coil carrier sheet into the frame. The coil
and sensor connectors should be facing the front.
The retaining rails provide additional support to the
coil carrier sheet.
iii. While holding the coil carrier sheet together with the
retaining rails, swing the rails back into the original
position and tighten the screws.
