2.6 Power Connection
The power requirements for a FPT Gateway are +24VDC @ 330 mA nominal and battery backup
in accordance with local code requirements. For Canadian installation, The FPT Gateway must be
powered by a ULC listed Fire Alarm Control Unit or a ULC listed power supply for fire application
that meets the following specifications. Outside Canada, it can be powered by any power limited
source that is UL listed for use with fire protective signaling units and it meets the following
specifications.
Connect the FPT Gateway’s PC board to the respective power supply connectors through properly
sized conduit.
