Connecting Audio Devices
For higher audio quality, you can send or receive sound through external audio
devices.
• Microphone Connector can be connected to a microphone for recording
voice or audio.
• Audio Input Connector can be connected to a Hi-Fi set, radio set,
synthesizer, walkman, etc. for audio input.
• Audio Output Connector can be connected to external speakers or
headphones. When connected, the internal speakers are disabled.
• S/PDIF Output Connector can be connected to an S/PDIF (Sony/Philips
Digital Interface) device such as a digital speaker set or receiver for digital
audio output. S/PDIF is a new audio transfer file format that provides digital
quality audio output through fiber optics.
