Powering On and Off
Powering On to AV Mode
To activate a specific consumer home appliance, simply press a Multimedia
Easy Start Button on the remote control. The Power indicator will turn green
and you will see a corresponding control panel or video on the screen. You
will be in
AV mode. (See Chapter 4 for details on using the entertainment
elements in AV mode .)
Powering On to PC Mode
Powering on to PC mode is the equivalent of booting the computer into
Windows XP. You can press the power button on top of the LCD or the
P P C C
button on the remote control to start up. The Power indicator will turn green
and Windows XP will load. (See Chapter 5 for details on using the entertain-
ment elements in
PC mode .)
