3. Enter the information for these fields:
Action — Select either
TV Record
or
TV Show
.
Channel — Select the desired channel from the pull down list.
Captured Filename — Enter a file name. If not entered, the filename
will be determined by the program.
Starting/Ending Date — Enter the date of the TV show.
Starting/Ending Time — Enter the time of the TV show.
4. Enter other information as necessary.
5. Click the
OK
button to confirm and return to the previous screen.
6. The event will appear in the list. Click the
✓
button to save.
Caution: Make sure that the system is in PC mode with power saving disabled
before the scheduled event starts. A scheduled event cannot occur if the system
is off or in Windows XP Stand By mode.
7. The WinFast TV program will automatically run at the specified time and
date to perform the action as requested.
WinFast TV Configuration
The configuration sub panel is where the majority of program option settings are
located, such as device properties, quality settings, tuner settings and scheduler.
Click the
Configuration
button on the WinFast TV Control Panel to
access the configuration dialog box where the following 4 tabs appear.
Device Setup
You can select from 10 format profiles built into the program. If necessary,
you can create your own format profile. In this tab you can also set
Time Limits
or Size Limits for recording.
Quality Setup
This tab lets you set the brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and color scheme
of the viewing window.
Tuner Setup
This tab lets you scan and configure the TV channels. (See “Managing TV
Channels” earlier in this section.)
