Connecting a Video Device
If your model has the TV card installed, you can connect an external video
device such as a camcorder, VCR or video game console for video input.
1. Make sure that the system is turned off.
2. Plug the AV/S video cable to the Video Input Connector on the right side
of the system.
3. Depending on the type of video device to be connected (S-video or AV),
prepare the necessary cables.
4. If you are connecting an AV device:
There are usually three cables (one video and two audio cables) to be con-
nected. The connector types are identified by colors: red for LINE IN RIGHT,
white for LINE IN LEFT and yellow for VIDEO IN. Plug the yellow connec-
tor to the AV/S video cable. The audio cables should connect to the system’s
audio input connector. (You may need a Y-type converter.)
