2.18 Echo Trail
Echo trails show the trails of other ships with a color different from the current echo color,
which is useful for monitoring ship movement. Relative trails and true trails are available
in the echo trail mode. True echo trails require heading and speed signals and position
information.
2.18.1 How to change the echo trail time and start echo trails
Tap [

] on the left side of the screen to open the InstantAccess
TM
Bar, then tap [TRAIL].
For each tap of [TRAIL], trail time changes as [Off]
→
[15s]
→
[30s]
→
[1min]
→
[6min]
→
[10min]
→
[15min]
→
[30min]
→
[Cont.]…. After selecting desired trail time,
tap [
◀
] to close the InstantAccess
TM
Bar.
2.18.2 How to reset the echo trails
The displayed echo trails can be erased and fresh echo trails started.
Touch control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [TRAILS].
3.
Tap [Trail Erase].
The [YES]/[NO] selection box appears.
4.
Tap [YES] or [NO].
5.
Tap [x] on the title bar to close [MENU].
Key control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Select [TRAILS] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
