Key control:

MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].

Select [SOUNDER] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.

Select [Clutter] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER

Set the clutter level with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER

key to close [MENU].

How to Erase Weak Echoes
Unnecessary noise faintly appearing over the screen can be erased by the [Color Erase]
function. This function erases weaker echoes sequentially so it is effective to use it when
you want to see only a large school of fish or to make the interfered pictures clearer.
Touch control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [SOUNDER].
3.
Tap [Color Erase] and drag the slider bar displayed on the right, or tap [+] or [-] to
set the color erase level.
4.
Tap [x] on the title bar to close [MENU].

A-Scope Display
The strength of the current echo (shown at the right end on the single frequency display)
may be shown with an amplitude picture called the “A-scope”. The A-scope screen
shows strong echoes with large amplitude and weak echoes in small amplitude. The A-
scope display tells you the echo strength at a glance so you can easily determine the
kind of school of fish, bottom and geological features.
Touch control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [DISPLAY].
3.
Tap [A-Scope].
The [Off]/[Normal]/[Peak] selection box appears.
4.
Tap [Off], [Normal] or [Peak].
Normal: Shows an amplitude picture for each transmission.
