[NMEA0183] is provided for future use.
[Heading/stern (HF)]
Set the distance from the motion sensor to the transducer on the high frequency
side.
[Heading/stern (LF)]
Set the distance from the motion sensor to the transducer on the low frequency
side.
[Up/down (HF)]
Set the vertical distance from the motion sensor to the transducer on the high
frequency side.
[Up/down (LF)]
Set the vertical distance from the motion sensor to the transducer on the low
frequency side.
[Port side / Bow side
(HF)]
Set the distance from the motion sensor to the transducer on the high
frequency side, in the port side / bow side directions.
[Port side / Bow side
(LF)]
Set the distance from the motion sensor to the transducer on the low
frequency side, in the port side / bow side directions.
[RESET]
Initializes all settings.
5.8.4 Bottom detection level
Continuous strong echo level is recognized as bottom (bottom). [Bottom Level HF] and
[Bottom Level LF] is set to [0] as factory default.
When depth data is unstable or not shown on the display, increase the setting on the
menu.
The setting range is -40 to 40. When blank lines appear on the bottom zoom mode
display, decrease the setting on the menu, so that the lines disappear.
Use caution when adjusting the level. If the level is too high, bottom fish are recognized
as the bottom (bottom).
Touch control:
1. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2. Tap [SYSTEM].
3. Tap [Calibration].
Related menu appears.
4. Tap [Bottom Level HF] or [Bottom Level LF], then drag the slider bar or tap [+] or
[-] to set the level.
5. Tap [
×
] on title bar to close [MENU].
Key control:
1. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2. Select [SYSTEM] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
3. Select [Calibration] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
Related menu appears.
4. Select [Bottom Level HF] or [Bottom Level LF] with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
5. Set the bottom detection level with the arrow keys, then press the
ENTER
key.
6. Press the
MENU/ESC
key to close [MENU].
