Installing the server in the rack

Pull the slide rails toward the front until they click into place.

Attach the server in the inner rail.
1. Insert the server to install the
ledge part in the ditch of the
inner rail on the server side.
2. Slide the server towards the
back until the screw hole of the
attached inner rail is over-
lapped with the screw hole on
the server side.
3. Fix the inner rail and the server
with the M3 flathead screws.
(Fix each side with two screws)

Slide the server backward
to install it in the rack cabinet.
Hold the locks on the right and left of
the slide rail pressed and slide the
server even further into the rack.
CAUTION
• Be careful not to pinch your fingers or catch any clothing when sliding
the server into the cabinet. Failing to do so may cause injuries.
