Removing the fan module

There are available two different kinds of fan modules:

– fan module without detachable cable
– fan module with detachable cable

Follow the appropriate procedure described in the sections

"Fan without

detachable cable" on page 137

"Fan with detachable cable" on

page 138

Fan without detachable cable

Disconnect the fan cables from the corresponding PDB:

– For fan1 and fan2 from the top PDB (1)

– For fan3 and fan4 from the bottom PDB (2)

Thread the fan cables carefully through the recess (3).
