The Server Blade

Exchanging a Hard Disk Drive

Remove the server blade of the slot in the system (see section “Removing
the Server Blade” on page 101).

Unscrew the three mounting screws and remove the HDD from the server
blade.

Figure 49: Removing the hard disk drive

Remove the IDE interface adapter (1), unscrew the two screws on each side
(2) and remove the hard disk drive from the mounting bracket (3).
