Updating BX300 Components
Switch Blade firmware
Ê
Start an internet browser on the client server. In the address input field, enter
the IP address specified above. Enter user name and password to connect
to the switch blade’s web agent (default user name:
admin
; default
password:
admin
). The home page appears.

In the navigation bar choose
Flash/File
.

On the switch blade only two operation code image files can be stored. If
there are stored already two image files, you have to remove at least one
of them before updating the firmware. It is recommended to remove the
older file (i.e. the file with the lower number).

Expand the
File Name
list (red arrow) in the
Remove Operation Code Image File
section to check if there are already stored two image files on the switch
blade. If so, select the older image file in the
File Name
list and click
Remove
File
.
