like the following picture:

you can enter a new value for the register. Note, that the values always are
shown in hexadecimal notation by set-up default, but you
can enter even decimal values (beginning with “
D’
”),
binary values (beginning with “
B’
”), or octal values (beginning with “
O’
”).

Monitoring and Manipulating C Variables
To display C variables choose in the debugging mode:
View
Watch
. A new window
Watch
will occur.
Click in this window on the right mouse button and select
Set…
. A pop-up window occurs.
In the text frame
Variable name
type in the variable name

of the example program above.
The Watch window will then contain the variable name and value.
Note: You can change the radix of the value by right-clicking on the variable entry and choose via
Radix
: Binary,
Octal, Decimal, or Hexadecimal.
