USB cables
Used to connect a USB device to your computer. Some USB devices come standard with a
separate cable, and others, such as mice, come with a cable already connected.

Some USB devices come with CDs or floppy disks containing their respective drivers. If necessary,
install the driver designed for Windows according to the instructions in your USB device manual.

Your computer can be used with USB1.1- and USB2.0-compliant devices.
Critical Points
Each USB port on your computer is capable of supplying electric power of up to 500 mA to
the USB device connected. For more information, refer to the documentation included with
your USB device.
When connecting two or more PC cards and USB devices at the same time, you should
power your computer from the AC adapter to prevent the deterioration of the internal battery
pack.
The performance of a USB device connected to your computer varies depending on the
performance of the USB hub and cable used.
