There are 2 different ways to enter the license key in your tape library:

•

via Operator Control Panel (OCP)

•

via Remote Management Unit (RMU)

5.10.1

Sequence of Installation

Cartridges are stored in magazines. Up to 12 cartridges can be stored in each magazine. Magazines may be
removed and inserted individually. For each new magazine a new license key is requested.

The sequence of installation is always the same:

•

Installation in a device with 2HU:

Delivery:
1. magazine on the left hand side

Upgrade:
2. magazine on the right hand side

•

Installation in a device with 4HU:

Delivery:
1. magazine on the bottom left
2. magazine on the top left

Upgrade:
3. magazine on the bottom right
4. magazine on the top right
