2.13 Inserting and Ejecting Cleaning Cartridges

FUJITSU Storage ETERNUS LT270 S2 Tape Library User’s Guide -Panel Operation-

P3AM-6932-06ENZ0

A confirmation window is displayed.
Click the [OK] button if it is OK to proceed. Clicking the [Cancel] button displays the cleaning

cartridge selection window.

A message indicating that the process is in progress is displayed. The processing-in-progress
message window also displays the number of cleaning cartridges to load and number of

cleaning cartridges that have been loaded.

Cleaning cartridge loading is complete when an end message is displayed.

Ejecting a Cleaning Cartridge

A cleaning cartridge in the cleaning cell is ejected into the CAS.

Procedure

Click the [Clean] button from the Operation menu.

Click the [Eject Clean Tape] button.

For each cleaning cartridge, the barcode label name (Barcode Label), tape cartridge type

(Type), usage count/available count (Count), and status (Status) are displayed.
