3.11 Setting Library Information

Click the [OK] button after all settings are completed. To restore the conditions before the
settings, click the [Reset] button.

The system displays a confirmation window showing the input contents.
Click the [OK] button if it is OK to proceed. To make entries again, click the [Back] button.

If settings are finished, the system displays a window showing the processing results.

If settings have been completed successfully, the SNMP agent is restarted (automatically).

SNMP Version
Specify the SNMP protocol to send traps.
"v1", "v2c", or "v3" can be specified for the protocol.
Community
(Trap Setting)
Set the community name for sending SNMP traps separately for each SNMP trap
destination. If this information is not specified, the community name "public" is
set automatically.
Alphanumeric characters can be entered.
This item is available if "v1" or "v2" is specified for "SNMP Version".
User Name
Set the user name for sending SNMP traps separately for each SNMP trap
destination. User names that are registered in the "User Setting" field can be
selected for this item.
This item is available if "v3" is specified for "SNMP Version".
Monitored Port
Set whether only USER Port, or both USER Port and REMCS Port will be subject to
SNMP monitoring.
If REMCS Port monitoring is enabled, the LT270 S2 may be displayed in blue in
Node monitoring with Systemwalker Centric Manager. For precise monitoring
with Systemwalker Centric Manager, Fujitsu recommends keeping this setting to
USER Port Only.
Enable Send Trap
If checked, Traps will be sent to the IP address specified in the Destination IP
Address.
Device Administrator
Enter the administrator name of the LT270 S2. Up to 20 characters can be
entered in the text area. Characters that can be entered are alphanumeric
characters and symbols (!"#$%&'()*+'-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}). Information entered
here is reported in SysContact of the MIB information.
Device Name
Enter a unique library device name. Up to 20 characters can be entered in the
text area. Characters that can be entered are alphanumeric characters and
symbols (!"#$%&'()*+'-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}). Information entered here is reported
in SysName of the MIB information.
Device Location
Enter the installation location of the LT270 S2. Up to 20 characters can be
entered in the text area. Characters that can be entered are alphanumeric
characters and symbols (!"#$%&'()*+'-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}). Information entered
here is reported in SysLocation of the MIB information.
Engine ID
Specify the engine ID of the SNMP agent.
Enter manually if "Use the following engine ID" is selected.
From 10 to 64 characters (even number) can be entered.
Alphanumeric characters can be entered.
If any character that is not allowed is entered, an input error message is displayed.
