3.12 Operating the Library

An inventory process is performed for each cabinet. Use the drop-down list to select the tar-
get cabinet.

Click the [OK] button. A confirmation window is displayed.
Select the [OK] button if it is OK to proceed.

When inventory operation is completed, an end message window is displayed. If the Invalid
CELL Information window is displayed on the operator panel, the cell contains an invalid

tape cartridge. In such case, check the information in the Invalid CELL Information window,
and then remove the invalid tape cartridge.

End of procedure

The drop-down list is not displayed when only a single base cabinet is used.

For information on handling invalid cartridges, refer to "3.4.2 Ejecting Tape Cartridges" in "FUJITSU
