2.2 Installing the Printer Driver
The DE100 driver package installs the printer driver, Notification Message, and Maintenance Tool.
Important:
• You must log on as a user with administrative privileges.
• If an Administrator password or confirmation is requested in Windows 7 /Windows 10,
enter the password and then continue with the operation.
• When using the printer in a multiuser environment, always log out and then log back in
as a different user when switching user accounts.
• Do not switch user accounts while printing. If you switch to a different user account
while printing when logged in instead of logging out and logging back in, printing will be
forcibly canceled. It will then take eight minutes until you can print again.
2.2.1 Installing the Printer Driver (Windows)

Unzip the DE100 Driver Package zip file.

Double-click “DE100 Driver Package Installer.exe” in the folder that you unzipped.
If the “User Account Control” dialog box appears at this time, click the [Yes] button.
The setup wizard is started.

Click the [Install] button.
The installation is started.
