Print Driver Settings

63

Advanced Tab Settings

This section describes the settings in the [Advanced] tab. Select the items on the [Advanced] tab, and change the 
settings in the menu displayed at the right side. Click [+] to display the content, and click [-] to close the menu. * is 
the default setting.
Refer to the descriptions under each item name about how to set the document options. 

• Settings

Document Options

TrueType Fonts

Specify the printing method for TrueType fonts.

• [Substitute with Device Font] *

 Replaces the TrueType fonts used in a document with the fonts installed on the printer and prints.

• [Download as Softfont]

 Downloads the TrueType fonts used in a document to the printer and prints.

PostScript Options

PostScript Output Options

Specify an output format for the PostScript files. Normally, select [Optimize for Speed].
