How to Use Help
The following describes how to use Help.
This section describes how to refer to the Help in Windows 7.
Using Help in the Properties Dialog Box

From the [Start] menu, select [Devices and Printers].

Right-click the printer icon, and select [Printer properties].
The properties dialog box is displayed.

On the [Device Settings] or [Configuration] tab, click the setup buttons.
The setting dialog box is displayed.

Click [Help] that is located at the bottom right corner of each dialog box.
Help is displayed.
NOTE:
• Clicking
that is located at the upper right corner of the dialog box allows the item indicator to pop up next to the
mouse pointer. While the indicator is displayed, click the item to view a detailed description. Help appears to display
information about the item that you selected.
You can also display Help by right-clicking the item and select [What's This?].
Using Help in the Printing Preferences Dialog Box

From the [Start] menu, select [Devices and Printers].

Right-click the printer icon, and select [Printing preferences].
The printing preferences dialog box is displayed.

Click [Help] that is located at the bottom of the dialog box.
Help is displayed.
NOTE:
• To view detailed information for each item, right-click the item and select [What's This?]. Help appears to display
information about the item that you selected.
