Remove the jammed staples (1),
and return the metal part pulled up
in step 5 to the original position (2).

Insert the staple cartridge while
gripping the orange lever until you
hear it click into place.

Close the front cover of the finisher.
Note • A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the front cover of the finisher
is even slightly open.
If the staples cannot be removed after carrying out the above procedures, contact our
Customer Support Center.
Staple Jams in the Booklet Staple Cartridge (Booklet finisher C)
The following describes how to clear staple jams in the booklet staple cartridge when
the booklet finisher C (optional) is installed.

Make sure that the machine has
stopped before opening the front
cover of the finisher.

Press the levers R2 and R3 to the
right, and pull out the unit.
Warning
Be careful when removing
jammed staples to avoid hurting
your fingers.
