TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem:
The water changes colour or becomes turbid.
Possible cause(s):
The unit is in direct sunlight or has not received water treatment. The local
tap water is of poor quality.
Solution:
Change the location of the unit to reduce direct sunlight. Prepare or change the water
according to the instructions in this manual. Think about using distilled water to fill the tank.
Problem:
Rowing belt slips off strap/bungee pulley.
Possible cause(s):
Pull rope is not under sufficient tension. Rewind spool not strong enough.
Solution:
Check the pull rope according to the instructions in the section "Attaching the rowing
belt".
Problem:
Inconsistent readings on the computer for 500-metre time and SPM (beats per
minute).
Possible cause(s):
Problem with sensor or cables.
Solution:
Contact the customer service.
Problem:
The computer does not start or does not display valid values.
Possible cause(s):
The batteries are inserted incorrectly or need to be replaced. Cable or
sensor problem.
Solution:
Insert the batteries in the correct position and try again. If the screen does not light
up, try turning the batteries in the computer slightly.
Check that the computer cable is connected correctly. If these measures do not help, contact
customer service.
