Heart rate monitors for fitness equipment are not medical devices. Various factors,
including user movement, can affect the accuracy of heart rate readings. Pulse
readings are intended only as exercise aids to determine heart rate trends in general.

Incorrect or excessive exercise can be detrimental to health. Be sure to consult with
your physician before beginning exercise to determine your individual exercise limit.
•
If there are signs of wear or doubts about correct functioning, do not continue
exercising and contact customer service.
•
This HC class exercise equipment is not suitable for therapeutic purposes. The max.
weight load is 150 kg (330 lb).
•
Only exercise with a minimum clearance area of 2 meters around the device.
•
The rower can be placed vertically for storage. Make sure that a safe location is
chosen, e.g. in the corner of a room or against a wall on a flat, safe surface. If the
storage location is not level, an additional bracket (sold separately) is required to
ensure a stable storage position.
•
Do not store the unit in freezing conditions with water in the tank as this may expand
and damage the components.
•
After rowing training, let the unit rest for 5 minutes before setting it up for storage.
•
Do not fill the tank beyond the calibration mark as water may leak out.
•
Never exercise with the unit if the feet are not properly secured in the foot straps or if
the foot plate sliding device is not engaged!
Failure to follow these instructions may lead to ineffectiveness of the exercise, shorten the
lifespan of the appliance or may lead to personal injury or damage to the device.
