Deleting Static Routes
Use the
unset route command to delete a static route:
unset route {ip_addr/mask} }
Modifying Static Routes
To modify an existing static route, first delete the route and then add a new route entry with the
desired route changes.
Example: Modifying a Static Route
Modify the gateway on a previously created static route from
10.0.0.100 to 10.0.0.20:
unset route 10.0.100.0/24
set route 10.0.100.0/24 interface eth0 gateway 10.0.0.200
save

Setting the Default Route
If a specific route for traffic is unknown to a server or a routing table, the default route forwards
all traffic to the default interface you define.
