freeGuard Capture Appliance User’s Manual

LAN to LAN Recording

The ICR appliance is capable of recording the data transmission among LANs, it is

suggested to be checked for the scenario that the users are accessing the Internet
through an on-site proxy server.

The maximum entries to be displayed

This option allows you to specify the records per page to be displayed on the Web

interface, any integer value from 10 to 200 are valid.

Default Character Encoding

The default setting will be applied to data with an unidentified character encoding. For

multi-bytes languages used in the same network, Unicode (UTF-8) is recommended.
