From the “CONTROL UNIT” menu, it is possible to change the menu language, set the user code, modify
the LCD contrast, save the SAF-HD unit confi guration in a USB pen drive, load the confi guration from the
USB pen drive, change the communication speed of the serial port (we recommend 57600 bps), check the
software version of the SAF-HD unit, and reset the unit to the default settings.

To change the language of the SAF-HD menu, enter the “CONTROL UNIT - LANGUAGE” menu and set the
language you want by pressing the
key. The available languages are Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese,
German and English.

SAVING THE CONFIGURATION FILE
To save a confi guration from the SAF-HD unit to the pen drive, use the “SAVE AS” menu.
When the message “insert USB” appears, insert the pen drive and press the
key, the SAF-HD will propose
the name “Confi guration1.” To change the fi le name, use the keyboard and the left/right arrows to move
along the letters (the entered letters can be cancelled by pressing the
key). Press the
key to save the
SAF-HD confi guration onto the pen drive.
