2.3 REMOTE POWER SUPPLY
The headend unit can be used to remotely power supply the mast pre-amplifiers, if any, or other remote ac-
cessories. By means of programming, it is possible to enable the remote power supply of each UHF input.
The maximum power is 200mA@12V, which is the addition of all the inputs.
All remote power supplies are protected from short-circuits: the headend will switch off automatically in the
event of a short-circuit in one of the inputs.
3. PRODUCT INSTALLATION
3.1 PACKAGE CONTENT
The packing contains the following parts:
•
SAF-HD control unit;
•
Power cable;
•
Operating instructions.
3.2 WALL ASSEMBLY
Please refer to the figure 3.1 to install the unit, by means of the brackets integrated in the mechanical parts
of the product. Please leave a gap to connect the power supply cable and allow the ventilation (15 cm of gap
on all sides). Any other method of installation does not guarantee the duration of the product.
