Software Installation
Your TView Silver is completely plug and play. The unit will work
even if this software is not installed. However, there are both
compatibility and usability advantages in installing the software and
thus installation is recommended. This chapter describes the TView
Universal Installer software, the steps required to perform the
installation, what you get with the software, and how to use the
applications.
Windows Installation
What’s on the Disk(s)?
The disk(s) allow you to install three utilities:

TView Fonts: The TView font files are installed in the Windows
System subdirectory. The TV fonts that are installed are easy-
to-read fonts, recommended if you are using small type fonts
when displaying on TV.

Win-2-TV: Win-to-TV is a software application installed in the
same folder in which the TView control panel is installed.
Win2TV is designed to correct a synching problem between the
computer and TV. Assuming the TView Silver is properly
connected, and you experience problems with the display output
on the screen, Win2TV should be run.
Note: Your video driver must be set to display 640 x 480 (VGA)
for the Win2TV software to load.
