The CAN interface X6 is set permanently to 1000 kbit/s.
The length specifications shown in the table are maximum values in ideal conditions. The
cable length possible in practice is reduced with poor screen contact, high interference,
branch lines and poor cable quality.
Furthermore, the cable length is dependent on the properties of the other CAN bus
stations and on the optocouplers (if connected) being used.
We recommend that the CAN cable only be as long as is really necessary.
