ROOF
ADJUSTING THE ROOF TINT
LEVEL
The roof glass is “electrochromic”:
this feature allows adjusting the roof
transparency by transferring a small
electric charge to the film-like cells
between the two glass layers.
The transparency can be set to six levels
by means of a control on the central
console. These levels range between a
maximum transparency, corresponding
to the tint of conventional glass, and a
minimum transparency, which lets only
1% of sun rays filter in.
The transparency variation, i.e. the
“dark-to-light” span, is available in less
than 60 seconds.
In order to limit the transmission of solar
energy when the vehicle stays in the sun
for a long period of time, the system
sets the roff tint to an intermediate level
each time the ignition key is turned to
0
(Stop).
Turn the adjustment dial
1
anticlockwise
to increase the roof transparency and
vice versa to decrease it.
Adjustments are only possible with the
ignition key in position
II
(Ignition).
When the key is turned to position
0
, the transparency is set back to the
intermediate level.
ROOF COVER
The vehicle comes equipped with
a roof cover, stored in the luggage
compartment, which can be used to
protect the roof when it is open.
To fit the cover, remove it from its bag
and unfold it on the roof.
Fasten the cover buttons
A
onto the roof
pins
B
, on the front section of the roof.
