The toggle switch 

B

 

allows opening or 

closing of the roof

 only when the ignition 

key is in position II 

(Ignition).

Opening: 

push the toggle switch 

backward (roof movement direction).

Closing: 

push the toggle switch forward.

Keep it pressed until the operation has 
been completed.

The roof operation is signalled by an 
amber warning light

that lights up on 

the instrument panel.

If the toggle switch 

B

 

is released before 

the opening or closing cycle has been 
completed, the roof stops and the 
clutches remain engaged.
If the opening/closing toggle switch is not 
pressed within 10 minutes, the system 
reverts to a 

“Roof Unknown”

 condition and 

the clutches are released after 2 seconds, 
releasing the roof.
This condition is signalled by a buzzer.

CAUTION
In this condition, the roof may 

dangerously rotate knocking against 
the luggage compartment lid.
