DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE
In this case, the failure warning light
B
will illuminate and, before starting
off again, the system (and the display
as well) must be turned off and the
“Starting” procedure repeated.
In any event, it is advisable to:
•
Turn off the engine and the system
keeping the brake pedal pressed.
•
Not request a gearshift while the
system is turning off.
OTHER SYSTEM FUNCTIONS
(“F1” gearbox)
“LOW GRIP” mode
This mode may be used when the
road surface is particularly slippery
(e.g., snow, ice) and it is activated
(or deactivated) using the switch
D
.
The relevant warning light
E
on the
instrument panel will come on.
While driving, the system automatically
switches to a higher gear if the engine
reaches the pre-established speed rate
(3200 RPM).
The “LOW GRIP” mode has priority
over the other functions (“AUTO” and
“SPORT”
) and assists the ASR system.
When “LOW GRIP” mode is activated,
the “Normal” mode and “ASR active”
functions are automatically selected and
these settings cannot be modified.
