10.5 Transmission shaft mainte-
nance
ATTENTION
Risk of material damage as a result of
incorrect maintenance of the transmis-
sion shaft
Incorrect maintenance can cause damage
to the transmission shaft.
 Perform all necessary maintenance
work in accordance with the Operator's
Manual from the transmission shaft
manufacturer.
 Check that the transmission shaft
safety guards are all present.
10.6 Servicing the hydraulics
WARNING
Risk of injury as a result of the hydrau-
lic system being highly pressurized
When working on the hydraulic
system, highly pressurized fluids
may leak out and cause injury.
Before working on the hydraulic
system:
 Lower the machine.
 Switch off the hydraulics.
 Depressurize the hydraulics.
 Switch off the tractor engine.
 Remove the ignition key.
A hydraulic hose should not be used for
more than
six years , including any time
spent in storage. The time in storage must
not exceed two years . The date of manu-
facture is printed on the hydraulic hose.
 Have hydraulic hoses replaced by a
specialist workshop.
