Switching the machine to
transport position
DANGER
Failure to observe transport height and
swivelling range may result in electric
shock and injury.
If the machine is near to obsta-
cles (e.g. buildings, bridges,
overhead cables), consider the
height and swivel range (see
Section 5 Technical data).
Make sure that there are no obstacles
in the swivelling range.
Maintain the minimum distance from
overhead power lines (see Section
2.5.10).
DANGER
Raising or lowering the machine can
result in injury.
Lifting or lowering the machine
can result in injury to anyone
positioned within the swivelling
range of the machine.
Make sure there is no-one within the
swivelling range of the machine.
WARNING
Risk of injury from the machine tipping
over
Lifting or lowering the rotors on
sloping terrain results in a
greater risk of the machine tip-
ping over.
Drive particularly carefully and slowly
on sloping terrain.
If the machine starts to tip, stop driving
and lower the rotors to the working po-
sition.
WARNING
Risk of injury from rotating machine
parts
Rotating rotors can trap persons
and cause serious injury.
Make sure there is no-one within the
operating range of the rotors.
Set the lowest working height on all ro-
tors (see Section 7.7.3 Adjusting work-
ing height).
Arc-shaped guard folded upwards
Swing up the arc-shaped guard (1).
Repeat this process on all four rotors.
Remove the outer tine carriers.
To do this, loosen the linch pin on the
tine carrier.
Pull the tine carrier off the side shaft
and mount it in the storage holder.
Hooking in the tine carrier
Hold the tine carrier at a slight angle
and push the tine winding (1) onto the
lower mounting (2) first and then push
the tube (3) of the tine carrier into the
recess on the bracket (4).
