Tighten the lock nut.
Lock this position using the two bolts
(1).
7.7.7 Adjusting the longitudinal in-
clination
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving machine
parts
Unwanted movement of the machine may
occur in the course of adjustment work.
Unless otherwise prescribed in this Oper-
ator's Manual, proceed as follows:
Apply the tractor parking brake.
Switch off the tractor engine.
Remove the ignition key.
Secure the machine and tractor against
rolling away.
The longitudinal inclination is set on the
leading wheel of the rotor chassis.
The setting of the longitudinal inclination
counteracts the boost to the rotor (caused
by the forage pressure) and increases ma-
chine performance.
Adjusting the longitudinal inclination
Recommended setting: a = 0 cm (The outer
tine carrier in the direction of travel just
touches the ground.)
Twin leading wheel
Ensure that the tire pressure of all con-
tact wheels is identical.
Lift the rotor into the headland position.
Hold the wheel tight.
Remove the linch pin (1).
Take down the upper washers (2).
Pull out the axle of the wheel guide.
Place the desired number of washers
onto the axle of the wheel guide.
Push the axle of the wheel guide back
in.
Place the remaining washers on top.
Secure the axle of the wheel guide us-
ing the linch pin.
7.7.8 Adjusting the sequential con-
trol
Sequential control is the staggered raising
or lowering of the rear rotors to the front ro-
tors.
The sequential control can be set in two
ways.
Depending on the meters driven
Depending on the time
