WARNING
Incorrect installation may result in in-
jury.
Incorrect installation of the transmission
shaft may cause personal injury and ma-
terial damage.
Only transmission shafts which have
been approved by the manufacturer
may be used for this machine.
Follow the Operator's Manual from the
transmission shaft manufacturer.
Before each use, check that the trans-
mission shafts are fitted and operating
correctly and that all safety guards are
in place.
ATTENTION
Risk of material damage due to exces-
sively high drive speed
Excessive drive speed may result in dam-
age to the machine.
Make sure that the maximum permissi-
ble drive speed of 540 rpm
is not ex-
ceeded.
Switch on the PTO shaft.
Set a drive speed of 450 rpm
and main-
tain this speed during work.
A decal showing the recommended drive
speed is attached to the front of the towing
bracket.
Driving with the rotor lowered but stationary
can cause damage to the sward.
Swaths that are as straight and uniform as
possible make work easier for the ma-
chines following on behind.
7.4.1 Turning at the end of the field
WARNING
Risk of injury from the machine tipping
over
Lifting or lowering the rotors on
sloping terrain results in a
greater risk of the machine tip-
ping over.
Drive particularly carefully and slowly
on sloping terrain.
If the machine starts to tip, stop driving
and lower the rotors to the working po-
sition.
Headland position
When turning at the end of
the field, press the "Lift all
rotors" button.
The rotors will lift into the headland posi-
tion.
After turning, press the
"Lower all rotors" button.
The rotors will lower into working position.
