10.3.6. Conditions for antenna synchronization
Antenna synchronization becomes necessary, if antennas of several different stations are located
in close vicinity to each other or if antenna supply lines of different evaluation stations are lead
side by side. One of these synchronized evaluation stations works as a master, and all the other
evaluation stations are working in the slave mode. The synchronization signal is looped through
from station to station. Synchronized evaluation units may be operated as stand-alone devices,
since this circuitry is not dependent on the operation modes.
Conditions requiring synchronization:
•
The distance between the antenna loops of different evaluation stations is smaller than 10m.
•
The antenna feed lines of different evaluation stations are located directly side by side.
Synchronization requires a twisted cable with a conductor diameter of 1,5mm

. Cable type
H07V-K1.5
would be suitable for standard applications. The line must not be longer than 15m.
Please make sure that the cable is installed in a dry surrounding.
