12.3 AUXILIARY POWER SOURCE
Alternatively to the main power network 220Vac, it is possible to feed the control panel through an external power
supply at 27.6Vdc connected to the
AUX
(see chapter
2.5).

Inside the “
Connection menu
”, select the function “
ext.supply
” to
activate the auxiliary power supply.
Once the password is correctly inserted, the control panel confirms the
external activation by a message “
EXT.POWER.CONTROL ON
”. Press the
“
Ok
” button to validate the activation of the modified power source.
NOTE: even if the external power source is activated, the control panel will signal the power loss of the primary
source through a flashing led which corresponds to “Power supply”.
12.4 SERIAL OUTPUTS (RS232-RS485-LAN)
12.4.1
Local net setting
To configure the local network address, enter in the “
Connection menu
”,
select the voice “
local net
” and confirm with “
Sel.
”.
Insert the address the user wants to give to the control panel (the default
control panel is set by the factory with address 99).
12.4.2
RS232 connection
The connection cable for the direct connection to PC is a straight not crossed RS232 cable. Into the central, the
RS232 serial port must be installed on the COM1 or COM2 (see chapter
2.5.7).
