Instrument Wiring
The flow transmitter can be powered by 85 – 265 Vac or 24 Vdc as specified in the instrument specification. The electronics cannot be configured to
switch between AC and DC power.
For 220/265 Vac installations, a neutral reference circuit must be used
.
All cable glands and conduit fittings must meet or exceed the area approval rating where the instrument is being installed.
The recommended instrument wiring routing is shown in Figures 12 and 13.

DC powered instruments require a ferrite to be installed on the input power wires to meet the EMC directive 2004/108/EC. Refer to the ferrite instal-
lation instructions in Appendix C, page 83 for details.
