TRANSFER WITH OFFER
This function allows for transferring an external call to an extension with the extension’s
approval.
Operation
During the external call:
press FLASH to put the external call in hold-on
dial the desired extension number
make the internal connection and inform the extension of
the transfer
hang up
- the external call is transferred to the extension
Notes
If the extension is busy, follow the “INCLUSION” procedure (see page 22).
If the extension rejects the call, follow the “HOW TO RESUME A CALL” procedure
(see page 23).
AUTOMATIC TRANSFER
This function allows for transferring an external call to an extension automatically, without
the extension’s approval.
Operation
During the external call:
press FLASH to put the external call in hold-on
dial the desired extension number
hang up without waiting for an answer from the extension
The extension picks up the handset to receive the external call directly.
Notes
The external user hears the call control tone.
If the extension does not answer within 25 seconds, the call is returned to the transferring
user.
If the extension is busy, the extension hears the call waiting tone for about 50 seconds and
then the call is returned to the transferring user.
If the external line remains in hold-on, without completing the transfer, the PABX keeps
calling for 50 seconds and then clears the external call.

EXTENSION BOOKING
This function allows for booking a busy extension.
Operation
While the busy tone is received:
press FLASH
- dialling tone
dial 74
- acknowledgement tone
hang up.
Note
When the busy extension hangs up, the two telephones receive a call with differentiated
ring (booking call).
EXTERNAL LINE BOOKING
This function allows for booking a busy external line.
Operation
While the busy tone is received:
press FLASH
- dialling tone
dial 74
- acknowledgement tone
hang up.
When the external line becomes free, the telephone receive a call with differentiated ring
(booking call).
The user can:
pick up the handset
wait for the public network tone
dial the desired number.
Note for FT208P
If a specific external line (81 or 82) was requested, only that line is booked.
