HOW TO CONTROL THE AREA CODE DIALLING
This function allows for blocking max. 8 sequences of numbers (from 1 to 8 digits) dialled
as first digits a telephone number. Fill-in the table of the page 46.
The access codes for this service are:
3333-22, 3333-23, 3333-24, 3333-25, 3333-26,
3333-27, 3333-28 and 3333-29.
To insert the blocking number:
pick up the handset (dialling tone);
dial the access code 333322;
dial a number from 1 to 8 digits (fill-in with the number the table on page 46),
- if the number is made up of 8 digits, wait for the acknowledgement tone and hang up.
- if the number is made up of less than 8 digits, hang up after dialling the last digit,
without waiting for the acknowledgement tone.
To insert the other blocking numbers, repeat the same procedure using a different access
code.
Example: if the codes indicated below have been dialled:
333322166, 333323033, 33332400158661 the telephones for which the area code dialling
control is enabled (see next paragraph) cannot dial numbers starting with 166, 033 and
00158661.
HOW TO DELETE THE ENABLED NUMBERS AND THE AREA CODES
To delete the enabled numbers and the area codes (see pages 16 and 17):
pick up the handset (dialling tone);
dial the access code of the number to be deleted;
hang up.
Example: dial 333335 and hang up to delete the number stored in position 35 of the enabled
numbers.

ACCESS TO THE EXTERNAL AMPLIFIER
This function allows for connection to an external amplifier for the paging service. The use
of an amplifier with input impedance ranging from 300 to 1000 Ohm is recommended.
Installation
turn off the PABX
unscrew the 2 upper screws to remove the cover
connect the amplifier input to terminals AMP EXT and GND
replace the cover.
Operation
pick up the handset
-dialling tone
dial 49
- access tone; connection with the external amplifier is made.
EXTERNAL HOLD-ON MUSIC
The PABX generates its own hold-on music, but can also be connected to an external music
source.
Installation
turn off the PABX
unscrew the 2 upper screws to remove the cover
connect the external music source to terminals MUS EXT and GND
move the jumper JP201 located next to the terminal block from INT to EXT
replace the cover.
Note
+5V voltage (0,1A maximum current) is also available to power music sources operating
at this voltage.
