5.1 Maintenance / Service Overview
General maintenance can be done to clean the user interface touchscreen or to clean the housing. If
the tube clamping becomes tight/sticky, there is a procedure to clean the tube tunnel and/or the
clamping mechanism. Please contact your Falex Representative or Compass Service for more
information. This does not require the laser to be active. There are no maintenance procedures that
require the laser to be on. There is no scheduled maintenance necessary to keep the Falex 430 ETR
in compliance.
Note: No maintenance is required on the laser system or internal positioning equipment.
Note: Should any issues appear that require service, please contact your Falex Representative or
Compass Service. This equipment is to be serviced or repaired by factory authorized
personnel only! It is recommended that for any service related issues, the machine is to be
shipped back to the manufacturer. The machine is not to be opened or modified by the
operator. Doing so will void the warranty.
For any service related issues, contact your local Falex representative obtain an RMA, then ship the
