Admin Mode Display

Within the Admin Mode Display (figure 3-11) it is possible to control every part of the Falex
430 ETR manually. This display is separated in ten (10) different areas. The ‘Axis Enable’ area
allows you to Enable or Disable five (5) areas. Each axis has two (2) modes of Motion, you can
switch between modes ‘Switch Mode’ button. Every axis has to be enabled before movement.
There are three (3) temperature sensors inside the Falex 430 ETR, only one (1) is displayed.
The other areas are for troubleshooting and to verify functionality.
Motion Mode
Step Mode
– With ‘Step Mode’active, in the text field for the corresponding axis you can
type in the ‘step width’. The axis will move one ‘step’ for every click of ‘+’ or ‘-‘.
Velo Mode
– With ‘Velocity Mode’ active, in the text field for the corresponding axis you can
type in the ‘velocity’. The axis will move as long as the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ button is pressed
and will stop when the button is released or the axis hits a limit switch.
Note: For every axis, the actual position is shown in ‘degrees’ for a rotary axis and in ‘mm’
for a linear axis. The ‘rotary’ axis has an index mark, the ‘linear’ axis have limit
switches. The light for the indexes will turn green for one second if the axis hits the
index mark or limit switch.
