Step Three:
Re-‐install drive-‐side BB cup with crank sensor fitted between the cup and the
frame and tighten to recommended Torque by the manufacture. Once this
has been completed re-‐install the rest of
Step Four:
Square taper BB's with single chainsets:
the magnet ring slides tightly onto the
BB axle in the direction indicated on
the magnet ring. When the cranks are
re-‐installed the Mag ring should NOT
be touching the BB cup and be a
maximum of 5mm away from the
sensor.
Isis/Splined/HT II BB's and ST triple
chainsets:
the magnet ring will need to
be hollowed out until it clears the BB
axle and drive-‐side BB cup. The Mag
ring will then attach itself to the inner
chainring bolts by the magnets
embedded in the Mag ring.
Tip: If you are running aluminium chainring bolts or a single chainset with
above BB types, the magnet ring may have to be glued onto the inside of the
chainset to keep it in position.
Note: Do not fit the magnet ring directly onto the BB axle unless it is Square
Taper Bottom Bracket otherwise cranks will not fit
correctly and will damage
your components.
