Fuel Tank Finish Panels 

 

Eye protection, drill, #6 hex nut driver, 

⅛” drill bits, drill, rivet tool, silicone, caulk gun, #6 self 

tapping screws.  

 

Fuel tank finish panels (FFR# 25641, 25643). 

 

 
Using the previously described aluminum installation process, it is now time to install the fuel tank finish 
panels. These panels must be installed before the engine. The cutout on the passenger side houses the 
Corvette fuse panel.  
 

 

 
These panels are riveted to the 1” frame members. Make sure to pre-fit these panels before drilling.  
 

 

You will not have enough space to drill and rivet at the rearward edge of the horizontal section of 
the panel and under the computer mounts on the passenger side panel so mark only the holes that 
you will be able to reach with the drill/rivet gun.
